Martin L organised a fantastic walk from Horton in Ribblesdale on what turned out to be a beautiful sunny clear day. Six of us joined Martin and Bruno for the walk.

Despite it being a beautiful day and busy in the car park Martin managed to plan a route that avoided most of the crowds except for a short section up to the summit.

We walked towards Brackenbottom but then continued on the road to Dub Cross and up to Churn Mill Hole and then headed for the summit.

We then continued on to Plover Hill and down a rather steep and precipitous path before heading back in a south westerly direction passing close to Hull Pot on the way.

It was a lovely walk and we finished the day in the rather interestingly furnished Golden Lion Pub.
Thank you to Martin for an enjoyable walk and thanks to Tina and Martin for the photographs.
