We go rock climbing every Tuesday evening. So during the summer we visit local crags in the Peak District or Lancashire quarries (weather permitting). In the winter months with shorter days, we climb indoors, and rotate between Manchester Climbing Centre, Summit Up Oldham, Awesome Walls Stockport and North West Face Warrington.
Most people arrive after work and you can usually find someone from the club there from about 7pm onwards.

During the summer, at weekends, we plan ‘away days’ to crags further afield, usually in Wales or the Lakes. Starting early, we return that evening. We publish the dates and likely venues in advance, we confirm where (and whether) we’re going closer the time, based on the forecast.
Ad hoc trips to local crags when the weather is good are organised on the Climbers WhatsApp group. The WhatsApp is a forum to plan days out or change plans to the Tuesday night programme.
